Síndrome del canal de Guyon por lipoma

Abstract
In this study, we present a case of a female patient 38-year-old, teacher with wrist pain and ulnar neuropathy in the Guyon’s canal, due to a lipoma. There is a clear idiopathic etiology or a cyst of nerve compression, and lipoma it’s a rare cause. Surgical decompression at the Guyon canal with resection of the lipoma was performed. After surgery, the patient presented with improvement of pain and paresthesia, as well as an increase in muscular power.
