Fractura de Hoffa inveterada, un reto quirúrgico

Abstract
Hoffa´s fracture is an infrequent trauma disorder characterized by involvement of the femoral condyles, its etiology is associated with high-energy trauma or related to preexisting diseases such as osteoporosis and poliomyelitis. The case that we present is a
36-year-old hispanic male with a fracture of the lateral femoral condyle secondary to a traffic accident (motorcycle). The case report and review of the literature is made due to the infrequency of the fracture line.
