Infección ósea por micobacterium fortuitum (no tuberculosa)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Mycobacterium Fortuitum is a non-tuberculous bacterium, which can be found in the environment and also in hospitals, especially in contaminated solutions or equipment, which could be the cause of abscesses or chronic infections. Failure to identify the etiological agent early is a reason to start effective treatment late. There are few cases reported in the literature on the cause of non-tuberculous mycobacterial infection in open or closed fractures.
